what sheeets me off is a recent scenario (mini rant ahead)
Sold to a friend/customer....
Once item was received asked for an alteration... posted back to me... i never received. I felt so terrible i replaced it - free. Was a beautiful baltic amber necklace hand made by me.
2 months later takes my design concept and what do you know BOTH necklaces were used in one of the designs. (i know this as the alteration was a colour change)
Anyhoo... they are using fake synthetic crap. I mean, come on. Challange me!
Why use fake? I get mine at a good price. My profit margin is good and its all quality. Maybe not "the best of the best" but my stones are used for function as well as healing properties.
Ok sorry. Off topic.

FYI, I can't knock on all beads anyways, especially since I have pieces on the machine to be faceted for some of Jen's work! A couple beads and briolette(not looking forward to these, never cut one, lol) and a pair of dice for a client of hers, lol.
