Just to show I'm still at it. Here's something I made for my daughter. She kept breaking the fresh water pearls I bought her so I told her this is the last time I restring these! I'm lying of course. If she breaks them again I get to make something else. The stones from the top strand down: Goldstone bead, rutilated quartz bead, sage quartz bead and tigers eye bead. it looks like a beautiful little solar system. LOL.

oh that's lovely haggie. For something that's big, it's quite simple but big in impact. Of course I'm not saying it's simple, maybe minimalist, so not a lot of tizz to make it big but it is big. Oh crap, let's just say AWSUM.

LOL Mehoose! I'm definitely a minimalist at heart thought I do some fancy work sometimes.
Thanks Jamey I'm way behind on work. I bought so much silver and its just sitting there. Had so much I was waiting to do but now that I've finally cured myself of "higher education" I'll get to it.

That's a great piece – would look right at home in one of those Merchant-Ivory or PBS Edwardian costume dramas.

Well, they use the real deal in those films, and your necklace really would have fit with the fashion 100 years ago (and those designs are back in style big-time)

It's a beautiful necklace! R2D is right-on! Well, they use the real deal in those films, and your necklace really would have fit with the fashion 100 years ago (and those designs are back in style big-time) here's one that is a reproduction of a necklace that Uma Thurman wore in a movie: http://www.jansjewells.com/item.php?item_id=980
