Newer Synthetic Sapphire & Emerald

A recent type of synthetic blue sapphire is on the market again. Morion is marketing it. Czochralski Pulled method. Also in ruby & Padparadscha. Also red and pink spinel too.

Also a rather convincing flux grown emerald in hexagonal crystals, both clean and with inclusions! Be on the lookout folks! These are definitely interesting!

Hi Jamie,
As a smith, I like these kind of materials over naturals. Good, clean, predictable material that looks fantastic once it is set.
As a gemologist, well, nevermind. best regards, Lee

No, not more fake trapiches
Next thing you know, they'll be growing them with inclusions that look like Elvis (to sell on TV and the bay).

Yup. Jamey pointed it out several months ago, and now I'm seeing a lot of it on the auction sites (some coming from India).

Yep, but loads of assembled trapiche showing up now. :/.
India is the new scammers. They've surpassed Thailand in leaps and bounds!
