A recent type of synthetic blue sapphire is on the market again. Morion is marketing it. Czochralski Pulled method. Also in ruby & Padparadscha. Also red and pink spinel too.

Also a rather convincing flux grown emerald in hexagonal crystals, both clean and with inclusions! Be on the lookout folks! These are definitely interesting!

Hi Jamie,
As a smith, I like these kind of materials over naturals. Good, clean, predictable material that looks fantastic once it is set.

No, not more fake trapiches Frustrated Next thing you know, they'll be growing them with inclusions that look like Elvis (to sell on TV and the bay).
